Ikat - Hues Inspired by a Spring Sunset

Behind the prints and patterns in our spring collection, there’s always a moment of stillness. It might begin in our Poole office, looking out across the bay as the sky softens and shifts at the end of the day. The colours never arrive all at once. They blur gently into one another. Peach into blue. Blue into lavender. Light into shadow.

That quiet transition inspired our Ikat print this season.

Hand-painted in watercolour by our in-house team, each motif carries those signature soft, feathered edges that give Ikat its flowing character. The word “Ikat” comes from the Malay term meaning “to tie,” a reference to the traditional technique of binding threads before dyeing to create a pattern. Historically, this method produced designs with naturally diffused edges, shapes that felt organic rather than rigid.

We wanted to honour that sense of movement.

On crisp white cotton, the print feels breathable and easy. The softness of the watercolour finish keeps it light, never overpowering. In the Yuki Blouse, the pattern drifts gently across the fabric, giving everyday denim a lift without feeling too bold. In the Eirini Dress, the same design feels relaxed yet considered, moving naturally as you walk.

It’s more than a print. It’s a reminder of spring light and open air, translated carefully from sketchbook to wardrobe.

Paisley - Craftsmanship in Every Line

If Ikat is about softness and flow, our paisley print is about detail.

We’ve always admired the intricacy of traditional Indian wood block printing, where carved blocks are pressed carefully onto fabric, building layers of pattern by hand. That sense of patience and precision informed our own interpretation this season. Every curve and teardrop shape was drawn in-house, refined line by line until the balance felt just right.

Paisley carries history, but it doesn’t need to feel vintage. In the Olivia Jumpsuit, the bold scale gives it a modern edge, while the fluid silhouette keeps it wearable. The Doa Blouse offers a lighter way to introduce pattern, with intricate linework that pairs easily with neutral trousers.

For those drawn to deeper tones, the Estrella Dress shows how colour can shift the mood entirely, creating richness without heaviness. Meanwhile, the Chara Dress and Ioanna Dress highlight how careful placement keeps the print flattering across different silhouettes. Even in smaller doses, as seen on the Chae Blouse, the craftsmanship remains clear.

Every line has been considered. Every repeat adjusted. It’s detail you might not notice at first glance, but you’ll feel it in the finished piece.

Bubble Print - Playful, Everyday Wear

Not every print needs to be intricate. Some simply capture a feeling.

Our Bubble print takes its cue from movement, from waves rolling in and the foam left behind as the water settles. Each hand-drawn circle carries a slight irregularity, a reminder that this is artwork first, pattern second.

Rendered in soft sea-blue tones on textured slub jersey, the design feels relaxed and easy to wear. The texture adds depth without weight, making it ideal for everyday dressing. The Alexia Dress brings the print into a simple, flattering shape that works from morning errands to casual dinners. For lighter layering, the Beau Bubble Blouse offers a subtle nod to pattern that pairs effortlessly with denim.

Texture and Co-ords - Versatile Pieces for Every Day

This season isn’t only about print. Texture plays just as important a role.

We’ve introduced gingham and stripe in tactile woven fabrics that feel substantial without being heavy. Navy and off-white gingham sits beautifully in a co-ord, offering a neat yet relaxed look. Deck-chair inspired stripes in green and cream bring subtle structure to mid-weight cotton.

Co-ords are our answer to those mornings when you want to feel put together without overthinking it. The Aitana Trousers paired with a textured blouse create an easy silhouette. The Teresa Skirt and Ynex Skirt show how pattern and weave can work together without clashing.
